We can provide a free pregnancy test and confirm a positive result with a free ultrasound scan at our center in Brunswick, ME. Ultrasounds allow you to see the heartbeat and know how far along you are. This is important for understanding which pregnancy options to consider.
Ultrasounds are performed by a registered nurse or registered diagnostic medical sonographer. After the ultrasound, you will be able speak with our medical team to get answers about your pregnancy-related questions and learn about all of the pregnancy options that apply to your situation.

Why Do I Need an Ultrasound?
Obstetric ultrasounds can help determine:

How far along you are (the approximate age of your pregnancy)

Whether or not you are carrying a single fetus or multiples (depending on gestational age)

Considering Abortion?
The abortion pill is only FDA-approved for early pregnancy and should not be ordered online. An ultrasound is recommended to determine the viability and length of pregnancy before taking the abortion pill or proceeding with an out-of-state abortion.
The type and cost of abortions depend on multiple factors, including how far along you are and if there are any pregnancy complications.
